Recently, the 2025 Hope Cup Summer Children's Performance Event, co-hosted by Red Star Education Media and Hope Outlets, and supported by the Lihuaxi Cultural and Tourism Industry Federation of Xinjin District, Chengdu, was splendidly held at the Hope Outlets Plaza. This event attracted more than 400 parents and children's representatives from Xinjin District to attend and watch, jointly celebrating this exclusive festival for children.

At the event site, over 60 young child performers from Xinjin District took to the stage with exquisite make-up, gorgeous costumes, and carefully prepared wonderful programs such as singing and dancing, Sichuan opera face-changing, cheerleading, and instrumental music. The entire event was divided into four poetic chapters: Drumming Like Spring Thunder·The Rise of Momentum, Melodies Chasing the Wind·New Rhythms, Colorful Costumes Dancing·Surging Tides, and Childlike Hearts Weaving Dreams·The Future. It brought a stunning audio-visual feast to the audience present.

The entire showcase event kicked off with a grand performance of 《Warrior Lion Youth》 by students from Xinjin District Experimental Primary School. Twenty-two young child performers instantly ignited the scene with their vigorous postures. The golden-red Xing Shi (Awakened Lion Dance) leaped and flipped to the rhythm of drums, won a burst of applause.

Subsequently, the solo dance 《Yongchun》 showed youthful vitality with agile dance moves; the cheerleading performance 《Youth in Full Flight》 vividly displayed the children's high-spirited, confident and sunny youthful elegance and vigorous vitality with its jumping rhythm and neat movements.

The Gu Zheng (Chinese Zither) performance 《When the Wind Rises》 was melodious and graceful, with profound artistic conception. It embodied the courage and hope of being tenacious and open-minded in the face of change, standing firm against the wind. The classical dance 《Painter in the Small Town》 depicted a picture of quiet and leisurely small-town life through delicate body rhythm and classical charm, conveying a poetic expression of the beauty of traditional culture and the tranquility of life. The face-changing performance 《Inheriting the Torch》 interpreted the profound heritage of the excellent traditional Chinese culture, highlighting the cultural confidence and the spirit of guardianship that had been passed down through generations, sustaining endless vitality.

The breaking dance performance 《Street Dance Brothers》 embodied the fighting spirit of challenging limits and the power of teamwork; the hiphop dance 《Come baby come》 with its dynamic rhythm, showed unrestrained joy and the confidence to highlight individuality; the dance 《Youthful Vitality》 depicted the colorful campus life and conveyed the positive energy of youth; the solo dance 《Newsboy at Dawn》 vividly portrayed the image of a newsboy who worked from dawn to dusk through solo dance, demonstrating the innocence and tenacity shining in adversity.

Moreover, the Gu Zheng (Chinese Zither) performance 《Snow in the Spring Courtyard》 created a tranquil and beautiful classical atmosphere, with the zither's melody drifting like snowfall over an ancient courtyard. In the children's dance 《A Day of Princess Elsa》, young dancers transformed into ice and snow princesses, interpreting a fairy-tale world with their innocent and lovely movements. The solo dance 《Ethereal Light》 conveyed a beautiful artistic conception, expressing cherished longing for fleeting youth and a poetic pursuit. Finally, the song 《Light Up the Future》 conveyed unwavering faith and high-spirited resolve through its lyrics, inspiring audiences and expressing the determination to illuminate the path ahead with youthful dreams.

A series of wonderful performances were presented one after another. With diverse artistic expressions, they fully demonstrated the versatile, innocent and lively images of children, winning bursts of applause and cheers from the audience. During the one-and-a-half-hour performance, the atmosphere at the scene was warm and the climaxes came one after another.

In today’s era of diversified educational development, aesthetic education is no longer a "supporting role" in the education system but has become a vital component alongside moral, intellectual, physical, and labor education. This event aims to leverage the showcase as a key initiative, building a stage for every child to demonstrate their talents. May the light of art illuminate their hearts, empowering them to shine uniquely on their growth journey.

Zhou Chenxi, a student from Xinjin District Experimental Primary School, told us that the school usually carries out a variety of colorful activities. Through these activities, everyone is not only subtly influenced by art but also promotes communication and interaction among classmates.

In addition, through such a learning process, everyone can not only exercise their artistic skills but also gain confidence and courage.

Liu Zhenhua, the marketing director of Chengdu Hope Outlets and one of the event organizers, introduced that Hope Outlets has fully utilized the opportunity of integrated development of culture, commerce, and tourism to strengthen the joint development between Outlets and the tourism industry, creating an integrated industrial chain of tourism and shopping.

During the just-concluded Dragon Boat Festival, Hope Outlets deeply integrated with Xinjin's cultural and tourism resources. It not only provided citizens with a variety of rich prizes such as tickets to Atbositown Paradise, Treasure in the Clouds ruby necklaces, and tickets to the Children's Fun Pavilion, but also launched preferential lucky draws on Xinjin's official cultural and tourism channels. They also noted that the event enabled them to witness their children's growth and progress in artistic learning. The children were also filled with excitement, stating that they had gained happiness and confidence from this showcase and enjoyed a wonderful time.
