Original Title: Chengdu-Made "Black Tech" Hidden Aboard a World-Class Scientific Research Vessel
On March 17, the reporter learned from Shuangliu District that the intelligent shore power system independently developed by Hope Senlan Science and Technology Holding Corp., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Hope Slanvert), an enterprise based in Sichuan Shuangliu Economic Development Zone, successfully supplied power to the "Jiageng" scientific research vessel a few days ago. This marks not only another breakthrough for Hope Slanvert in the field of green port construction, but also provides solid green energy support for China's marine scientific research endeavors.
It is reported that the "Jiageng" is a new-type deep-sea comprehensive scientific research vessel named by Xiamen University in memory of Mr. Chen Jiageng, a patriotic overseas Chinese leader. It is a 3,000-ton world-class marine scientific research vessel with unlimited navigation capabilities. As one of the core vessels for deep-sea scientific research in China, the "Jiageng" has a design level on par with those of world-class scientific research vessels of the same class, enabling multi-disciplinary comprehensive research on marine biology, geology and other fields.
As a scientific research vessel featuring low noise and environmental protection, the "Jiageng" incorporates a range of "black technologies", one of which hails from an enterprise in Shuangliu, Chengdu. Hope Slanvert's intelligent shore power system is a green energy solution developed to address the pollution problem caused by ships using fuel-generated power while berthed. Specifically customized for the "Jiageng", the system's new-generation high-performance variable-frequency power supply converts onshore high-voltage municipal electricity into a stable 460V/60Hz power source suitable for the vessel. Boasting fast dynamic response, strong overload capacity, and high control precision, it meets the rigorous power requirements of the ship's various electrical equipment.
Notably, the "Jiageng"'s intelligent shore power system adopts a modular design, significantly reducing space occupancy and simplifying maintenance. Meanwhile, advanced technologies, including intelligent harmonic suppression, multi-layer protection, and redundant design, minimize harmonic pollution and ensure power supply stability. The system also supports remote monitoring and operation, effectively improving ship connection efficiency and enabling unattended operation.
In addition, the system integrates functions such as new energy vehicle fast charging, meteorological monitoring, security surveillance, and network services. It also reserves interfaces for photovoltaic and energy storage units, facilitating full utilization of clean energy, further reducing carbon emissions, and supporting the achievement of green port construction goals.
