Great News! Green Manufacturing Drives High-Quality Development of Hope Energy & Chemical

——Lanzhou Taibang Awarded as 2025 Green Manufacturing Unit

Recently, the Industry and Information Technology Department of Gansu Province released the 2025 Green Manufacturing Unit list. Lanzhou Taibang Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Lanzhou Taibang"), a subsidiary under the Energy & Chemical Sector of Continental Hope Group, was proudly awarded the title of "2025 Gansu Provincial Green Manufacturing Unit".

As the executive entity of green manufacturing, green factories serve as the core supporting component of the green manufacturing system. They are characterized by intensive land use, harmless raw materials, clean production, waste-to-resource conversion, and low-carbon energy use. Moreover, they represent an official, authoritative national certification, recognizing enterprises that have achieved industry-leading standards in green development, energy conservation, environmental protection, and other aspects.

Green factories are a key measure for implementing Made in China 2025 and the "Dual Carbon" strategy. This certification aims to drive industrial enterprises to transition toward green, efficient, and low-carbon operations while improving resource utilization efficiency and environmental friendliness. The selection criteria for green factories cover multiple dimensions, including energy consumption, resource utilization, emission control, production processes, and green supply chains. The selection process is rigorous and involves a full-life-cycle assessment.

Lanzhou Taibang's success in winning the title of Green Manufacturing Unit is attributed to the Group's consistent efforts to apply new paths, new technologies, and new outcomes derived from scientific and technological innovation across the entire industrial chain (upstream and downstream), thereby advancing industrial upgrading and transformation. Furthermore, it leverages the industry influence of Hope Energy & Chemical, which serves as the Chairman Unit of the Chlorate Branch under the China Inorganic Salts Industry Association (CISIA). Together, they have built a development model that integrates scientific and technological innovation with industrial innovation, converting scientific and technological achievements into high-efficiency drivers for industry advancement.

Currently, Lanzhou Taibang holds 6 national invention patents and utility model and proprietary technologies related to the production and manufacturing of sodium chlorate, potassium perchlorate, and hydrogen peroxide. The R&D team led by Academician Wang Shuangfei of the Chinese Academy of Engineering has achieved industry-leading R&D outcomes, including the 2019 Second Prize of the National Technology Invention Award, which is currently the highest-level award ever conferred in this sector. Lanzhou Taibang has also built China’s only integrated production line (at this stage) that simultaneously covers the "sodium chlorate – potassium perchlorate – hydrogen peroxide" production chain. It has achieved zero wastewater discharge in the co-production of sodium chlorate and potassium perchlorate, establishing a green manufacturing model for a circular economy industrial park that integrates green energy chemicals (encompassing energy, chemical engineering, and new materials) and green chemicals for comprehensive hydrogen utilization.

As a leading enterprise in the industry's green development, Lanzhou Taibang actively responds to the national call for "intelligent manufacturing and green manufacturing" and adheres to the development concepts of innovation, coordination, greenness, openness, and sharing. It adopts advanced, energy-efficient, and eco-friendly technologies, equipment, processes, and materials; promotes the establishment of a green manufacturing system through clean production practices, drives high-quality corporate development via environmental optimization; and strives to become a benchmark "resource-saving and environment-friendly" enterprise.

Green factories are a vital force in advancing industrial greening and developing new productive forces. With the deepening of green transformation, the Energy & Chemical Sector of Continental Hope Group not only focuses on greening individual factories but also commits to building a comprehensive green manufacturing ecosystem at the group level. By leading the sharing of industry green development achievements and implementing green manufacturing technology upgrades, all factories within the sector have achieved synergetic effects in green manufacturing.

Previously, Sichuan Hope Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. and Qinghai Guoyuan Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., both subsidiaries of Hope Energy & Chemical, have also won the "Green Factory" title on multiple occasions. Leveraging the Group’s long accumulated independent intellectual property rights (including patents and proprietary technologies) in the fields of energy, chemical industry, machinery, and electronics, Hope Energy & Chemical has transformed its patented technologies into new productive forces for green energy and chemical engineering, which lead the high-quality development of the industry. It has built a distinctive green circular economy industrial chain integrating clean energy, green chemical industry, and comprehensive hydrogen utilization. Products manufactured by Hope Energy & Chemical are sold extensively overseas, reaching markets in Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, India, Angola, Morocco, Brazil, and beyond.

Meanwhile, Continental Hope Group is also committed to enhancing the green development capabilities of the industrial chain (upstream and downstream), supporting affiliated enterprises in jointly achieving sustainable development, and continuously injecting vitality into the green development of the local economy. Looking ahead, Lanzhou Taibang will take this "Green Manufacturing Unit" recognition as a catalyst, focus on driving corporate development through scientific and technological innovation, and inject strong "Hope momentum" into the high-quality development of the industrial chain’s upstream and downstream sectors.
