Guided by the Sichuan Roller Skating Association, hosted by Xinjin Hope·Outlets, and co-organized by the Xinjin District Roller Skating Association and Sichuan Zhongchuang Siwei Culture Communication Co., Ltd., the 2025 "Hope·Outlets Cup" Juvenile Roller Skating Invitational successfully concluded at Xinjin Outlets on December 7, 2025.

Distinguished guests graced the opening ceremony, including Xie Chunmeng, President of the Sichuan Roller Skating Association; Huang Yuelin, President of the Xinjin District Roller Skating Association; Liu Zhenhua, Director of Brand Promotion at Continental Hope Group; Gu Kunqi, Freestyle Roller Skating World Champion; and Liu Yongqiang, Chief Referee of the event.

The event featured four major disciplines: Double-Lap Time Trial, Triple-Lap Time Trial, Roller Skating Obstacle Race, and Roller Skating Pole Drill. It was divided into five age-based groups for competition: College Student Group, Grades 5-6 Primary School Group, Grades 3-4 Primary School Group, Grades 1-2 Primary School Group, and Kindergarten Group, attracting nearly 200 athletes from across Sichuan Province.

The opening ceremony was exceptionally splendid. In addition to spectacular freestyle roller skating dance performances, the event organizer also invited Gu Kunqi, the renowned Freestyle Roller Skating World Champion, to make a personal appearance, treating the on-site audience to a breathtaking freestyle roller skating showcase.

Gu Kunqi took the stage to high-five and interact with all participating athletes. Following his performance, he signed autographs for the young skaters and posed for photos with them, sowing the seeds of passion for roller skating on the sunlit winter venue. He encouraged the children to persist in training, urging them to showcase their talents on higher and broader stages in the future, bringing glory to both the nation and themselves.

Inspired profoundly by the champion's extraordinary performance, the young athletes competed fiercely on the track, surmounting numerous obstacles, striving courageously toward the finish line, and each achieving their personal best.

The successful hosting of this event not only provided a platform for young skaters to demonstrate their skills and enhanced their competitive capabilities in roller skating but also boosted foot traffic in the Outlets business district and stimulated consumption. A representative from Hope·Outlets commented: "This is the first time we have attempted to host a roller skating event within the park, and it has been an overwhelming success. Next year, we will plan ahead earlier to attract as many families as possible to participate, further contributing to the growth of consumption in the business district."
