On January 16th, Continental Hope Group and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) formally entered into an industry-university-research cooperation agreement at the Hope Cloud Business Park Electronic Information Industrial Park in Chengdu High-tech Zone. The signing ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including Professor Hu Jun, President of UESTC; Professor Xu Hongbing, Vice President of UESTC; Dr. Chen Bin, President of Continental Hope Group; Ms. Liu Haiyan, Executive Vice President of Continental Hope Group; and Dr. Liu Chaoyu, an outstanding alumnus of UESTC, all of whom witnessed this important milestone.

At the signing ceremony, Ms. Wang Hua, General Manager of the Operations Management Center of Continental Hope Group, and Professor Tang Wanbin, Executive Vice Dean of the Office of Scientific Research & Development of UESTC, signed the industry-university-research cooperation agreement.

During the event, Professor Tang Wanbin showcased UESTC's remarkable achievements in disciplinary development, scientific research innovation, national defense services, and industry-university-research integration, while highlighting its leading-edge strengths in frontier fields such as artificial intelligence and quantum science. Dr. Zhang Shulin, Executive Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of the Mechatronics & Intelligent Technology Division of Continental Hope Group, shared Hope Slanvert's latest landmark R&D breakthrough — the world's first ultra-high-power dual-machine hot-redundancy water-cooled high-voltage variable frequency system. This pioneering product is set to become another major advancement in the application of cutting-edge technologies within the industry. Li Qianbo, Executive Deputy General Manager of Hope Deepblue Air-Conditioning Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary under the Mechatronics & Intelligent Technology Division of Continental Hope Group, presented the diverse application scenarios of Hope Deepblue's large-scale heat pump units across Europe. Additionally, Dr. Dong Jinping, General Manager of the New Energy Business Division of Continental Hope Group, demonstrated the industrial park-level microgrid dynamic energy storage management system implemented by Hope New Energy, as well as the industrial innovation and development cases that have been included in provincial-level key science and technology special projects.

Professor Hu Jun, President of UESTC, commended Continental Hope Group for its strong technological innovation capability, solid industrial innovation strength, and vibrant dynamism derived from the in-depth integration of the two. He noted that the Group's valuable experience and practices offer important insights for the university to further deepen industry-university-research integration. Professor Hu emphasized that as a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation accelerates globally, the development of new quality productive forces has placed higher demands on industry-university collaborative innovation. The university is eager to strengthen strategic cooperation with powerful, visionary, and industry-grounded enterprise groups like Continental Hope Group. He expressed anticipation that taking this signing as a catalyst, both parties will further identify targeted cooperation entry points, smooth the integration path between technological innovation and industrial innovation, fully leverage their respective advantages to achieve win-win development, and join forces to contribute to national strategic needs and the high-quality development of industries.

He further stated that in the future, the two parties will build a collaborative innovation system integrating "industry, university, research, and application" by leveraging the professional expertise of research institutions. Meanwhile, in cooperation with the R&D team led by Mr. Liu Yongyan — an outstanding alumnus of UESTC, co-founder, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chief Scientist of Hope Group, and Chairman of Continental Hope Group — the two sides will give full play to the enterprise's ability to capture market demands, cultivate more "Outstanding Engineers", forge a powerful synergy for new quality productive forces, and drive the high-quality transformation of scientific and technological achievements through extraordinary measures.
