On May 15, Li Qingming, Secretary of the CPC Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefectural Committee of Qinghai Province, led a delegation to visit Continental Hope Group. During the forum, Cheng Wenzhao, General Manager of the Group’s Energy & Chemicals Division, delivered a comprehensive briefing on the development of the Hope Energy & Chemicals Industry. Wang Wenjia, General Manager of the Group’s Investment Development Company, presented a special report on the planning of relevant investment projects in Haixi Prefecture.

In pursuit of the goal of "building a world‑class salt lake industrial base", Continental Hope Group has invested in the construction of the "Green High-end New Materials & Hydrogen Energy Comprehensive Utilization Project for the Salt Lake Industry" in Delingha City, Haixi Prefecture – namely the Qinghai Guoyuan Green Chemical & Hydrogen Energy Comprehensive Utilization Circular Economy Industrial Park project. With strong support from the CPC Qinghai Provincial Committee, the Provincial Government, the CPC Haixi Prefecture Committee, the Prefecture Government, the CPC Delingha Municipal Committee, and relevant municipal government departments, Phase I of Qinghai Guoyuan has been successfully commissioned, recognized as a National Green Factory and certified as a High‑Tech Enterprise.

Leveraging the position of Continental Hope Group’s Energy & Chemicals Division as the Chairing Unit of the Chlorate Branch of the China Inorganic Salts Industry Association, the Qinghai Guoyuan Project integrates industry resources to foster a model of integrated technological and industrial innovation, translating scientific and technological achievements into powerful drivers for industrial development.

Products from the Qinghai Guoyuan Project are now sold both domestically and globally. Going forward, the project will continue to support Qinghai Province in deepening trade cooperation with countries and regions along the "Belt and Road" Initiative, as well as with other provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, to achieve win‑win cooperation and common development. Upon the completion and commissioning of Phase II, the project will form a source‑grid‑load‑storage green energy chemical and hydrogen energy comprehensive utilization circular economy industrial park, promoting the clustered development of Qinghai’s high‑end green new materials and hydrogen energy industries derived from salt lakes.

The salt lake‑based green chemical industry is Haixi’s signature competitive sector and a pillar of its economy. Currently, centering on the superior resources of the Qaidam Basin, Haixi is driving the overall upgrading of industrial chains including salt lake chemicals and clean energy under the principles of ecological priority and green development. It is consolidating its foundation and making all‑round efforts to accelerate the development of the “Four Industrial Bases”.

He emphasized that Haixi will continue to provide comprehensive services and guarantees, strive to create a favorable business environment for enterprises, proactively respond to corporate needs, precisely implement preferential policies, fully ensure factor supplies, and sincerely help enterprises solve difficulties. It will support enterprises in growing stronger through an optimized business environment.

Dr. Chen Bin, President of Continental Hope Group, stated that Haixi boasts abundant resources and energy, a clear industrial positioning and enormous development potential.
