During the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), the world's attention was focused on China's opening up. On November 6th, the ‘Open Chengdu’ partner programme promotion event - LET'S GO CHENGDU & PARTNERS was held at the Caohejing Convention Centre in Shanghai, which was co-hosted by the Chengdu Center for Promotion of Opening-up and Cooperation and the Chengdu Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

Important guests such as the relevant persons in charge of the Department of Commerce of Sichuan Province and the Bureau of Economic Co-operation of Sichuan Province, as well as nearly 100 representatives of international business organisations, business associations and foreign-related enterprises attended the meeting. Dr Chen Bin, Executive Vice President of China Overseas Chinese Enterprises Federation, Co-founder and President of Continental Hope Group, was invited to attend the meeting and issued the ‘Chengdu Partnership Initiative’.

The event highlighted Let's Go Chengdu's ‘6+2’ campaign, which covers resource docking, enterprise growth, technological innovation, partner sharing, business environment optimisation and branding to provide services for Chengdu's partners. On the stage of CIIE, the voice of ‘Chengdu Partners’ is getting louder and louder. Chengdu, with its high level of openness, is accelerating the linkage of global resources and becoming a hot spot for domestic and foreign investment. Just recently, Chengdu City held a conference on the high-quality development of industrial parks, blowing the charge of high-quality development of industrial parks.
