General Manager Cheng Wenzhao Elected as President of China Inorganic Salt Industry Association Chlorate Branch

On 10th December, the annual meeting of China Inorganic Salt Industry Association Chlorate Branch (hereinafter referred to as: ‘Chlorate Branch’) was held in Chengdu Homeland Hotel.

Mr Wang Xiaofeng, President of China Inorganic Salt Industry Association, Mr Cheng Changjin, Chief Engineer of China Chemical Safety Association, Dr Chen Bin, Executive Vice President of China Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Co-founder and President of Continental Hope Group, and nearly 100 entrepreneurial representatives from the domestic chlorate industry were present at the meeting.

The meeting held the agenda for the renewal of Chlorate Branch in accordance with the regulations, and elected the relevant persons in charge of the Fifth Council: Mr Chen Hong was elected as the Honorary President of the Branch; Mr Cheng Wenzhao, General Manager of the Energy and Chemical Division of Continental Hope Group, was elected as the President of the Chlorate Branch; Ms Zhou Yue was elected as the Secretary General of the Branch; and Mr You Ming, General Manager of Sichuan Hope Deepblue Chemical Corp., Ltd., was elected as the Executive Deputy Secretary General.

During the meeting, Mr Wang Xiaofeng, president of China Inorganic Salt Industry Association, pointed out that with China's economy moving towards high-quality and healthy development, the demand for chlorate products in various fields such as industry, agriculture, medical treatment, rocket gunpowder and so on will increase, and that the chlorate industry will have a broad development prospect for a long time to come. Chlorate Branch will also become a bridge connecting government, enterprises and market, and an important force to promote the innovative development of the industry. China Inorganic Salt Industry Association will also provide all-round support and help for the work of the branch, and continue to promote the high-end, green and intelligent development of the industry.

Dr Chen Bin, Executive Vice President of China Overseas Chinese Enterprises Association, Co-founder of Continental Hope Group and President of the Group, analysed the current domestic and international economic development situation for the entrepreneurs and scholars present. He said that the world is facing accelerated evolution, and all countries in the world are facing new risks and tests, but at the same time have new opportunities for development and prospects for progress. And it is in this environment that China's economy has become the driving force of global economic growth and confidence, accompanied by continued strong policies.

Dr Chen Bin, who studied under the famous economist Professor Liu Shibai, integrates industry, academia and research into one, and his witty words, combined with the advantages and characteristics of the industry, clarified the direction of the enterprise's development. He said that the prosperous development of the Group's Energy and Chemical Division in the chlorate industry is precisely due to the adoption of modern enterprise management concepts, attaching great importance to scientific and technological innovation, vigorously promoting technological reform and upgrading, deeply integrating scientific and technological innovation with the real economy, and assisting the Group's Energy and Chemical Division in the high-quality development of the chlorate industry by means of the new quality productivity of the green energy chemical industry and the comprehensive utilisation of hydrogen energy in the recycling economy industrial ecological chain, and creating value for the society with excellent products and services.

Zhang Haoyuan, General Manager of Liuyang City Chemical Factory Corp., Ltd. shared the quality control of the industry with potassium perchlorate as a case study. Yu Ming, General Manager of Sichuan Hope Deepblue Chemical Corp., Ltd. analysed the current situation of production capacity and import and export of chlorate in various industries. The wonderful speeches and case analyses of the leaders and guests were highly praised by the representatives of the participating entrepreneurs.
