On April 23, Chen Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and Acting County Magistrate of Youyang County, Chongqing Municipality, along with Cheng Lan, Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Minister of United Front Work, led a delegation to visit Continental Hope Group for investigation and survey. On the same day, the delegation headed by Chen Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and Acting County Magistrate of Youyang County, Chongqing Municipality, also inspected Chengdu Meihao Food and other Hope industries, and held a symposium on investment promotion in Youyang County, Chongqing Municipality, China.

Chen Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and Acting County Magistrate of Youyang County, Chongqing Municipality, led a delegation to inspect the Hope Slanvert Intelligent Manufacturing Digital Factory in the Hope Cloud Business Park of Tianfu Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, accompanied by Group Vice President Dr Cheng Yifeng and other leaders. At the Hope Slanvert Intelligent Manufacturing Digital Factory, Chen Zheng and his delegation thoroughly understood the development history and technical advantages of the Group in the intelligent manufacturing sector. Hope Slanvert has been committed assisting partners across various fields achieve energy conservation and emission reduction through high-efficiency and energy-saving products and solutions, realizing cost reduction and efficiency improvement while injecting green and low-carbon development momentum into enterprises. Chen Zheng noted that Hope Slanvert adheres to the concept of eco-design, integrates the philosophy of green recycling and low carbon into the entire process of product R&D, manufacturing, and service, and establishes an exclusive green recycling supply chain. This is highly compatible with Youyang County's ongoing pilot project of ‘Common Modernization’, and the strategy of continuously promoting the development of ecology, rural areas, culture, and tourism.

In recent years, based on the advantages of ecological resources and ethnic characteristics in mountainous areas, Youyang has taken institutional innovation and policy integration as the driving force, highlighted the core elements of "alpine, ecological, organic, green, safe and healthy", and pioneered the creation of the ‘Youyang 800’ regional public brand. The county has constructed a modern agricultural industry system covering the entire county and all major categories, actively exploring a path to break through the bottlenecks of mountainous agricultural industries and new approaches for industrial development to drive public prosperity. Chen Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and Acting County Magistrate of Youyang County, stated that Youyang will spare no effort to foster a first-class business environment and strive to launch cooperation with Continental Hope Group at an early date, aiming to achieve mutually beneficial and win-win development for local enterprises.

During the exchanges, Dr Cheng Yifeng, Vice President of the Group, also introduced Continental Hope Group's in-depth efforts in the green circular economy industry, particularly the new energy industry chain represented by clean energy. Through comprehensive planning and integration of resources, the Group has strategically laid out new productivity models in the new energy field, such as wind-solar-storage charging and discharging, virtual power plants, carbon trading, and hydrogen energy utilization. He stated that these industries can be combined with the local characteristics of Youyang to form a large-scale comprehensive new energy technology solutions, promote the green transformation of energy, contribute to the sustainable development of green energy, and thus support the national ‘Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality’ goals , adding impetus to high-quality economic development.

At the subsequent investment promotion symposium in Youyang County, Chongqing Municipality, Wang Wenjia, General Manager of Continental Hope Investment and Development Corp., Ltd., introduced the Group's basic profile and development plan. With high technology as the core and comprehensive resource utilization as the link, Continental Hope Group has formed a close and three-dimensional upstream and downstream industrial chain through its industrial layout centered on ‘energy conservation and environmental protection, circular economy, quality life, urban symphony, intelligent technology, and international business’.

At the symposium, Dr Cheng Yifeng, Vice President of the Group, noted that as a native of Youyang, his hometown has nurtured him and will always hold a special place in his heart as an enduring source of spiritual motivation to forge ahead. He emphasized that advancing the Sichuan-Chongqing synergistic development strategy and jointly building the ‘Economic Circle’ represent both a major political mission for the two regions and a critical decision to establish a key growth pole for high-quality development. Regarding the inspection tour led by County Magistrate Chen Zheng to Chengdu, he stated that it embodies not only the bonds of hometown sentiment but also affirmation of the Group’s philosophy of driving green development through technological innovation.

Notably, under the impetus of Dr Cheng Yifeng, Vice President of the Group, the Chengdu Youyang Chamber of Commerce was officially inaugurated on November 23, 2023. Leveraging the chamber’s platform, efforts are being made to facilitate Youyang’s deeper integration into the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle. This initiative aims to enhance convenience for local nostalgia exchanges and friendship-building between the two regions, while also streamlining project collaboration and development promotion. Entrepreneurs from industries including culture and tourism, agriculture, logistics, energy, finance and so on delivered presentations on their respective business scopes and shared insights into Youyang’s development prospects.

Dr Cheng Yifeng stated that Youyang Chamber of Commerce will continue to guide the majority of Youyang entrepreneurs in Chengdu to deepen integration and pursue development, actively participate in and align with the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, and make greater contributions to the high-quality economic and social development of both Chengdu and Youyang.
