On July 9th, the "Seminar on Chinese Language for Government Officials from Belt and Road Countries", sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and undertaken by Huaqiao University, visited Continental Hope Group with the support of the Sichuan Provincial Returned Overseas Chinese Federation, the Sichuan Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Sichuan Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs (SFOCE), and the Sichuan Alumni Association of Huaqiao University, conducted an on-site inspection themed "Green Technology and Industrial Innovation".

Twenty-three government officials from seven countries including Egypt, Nigeria, Fiji, and so on went deep into the Group's projects to learn about the practical achievements of Chinese private enterprises in the fields of high-end manufacturing, energy transition, and intelligent development, and explored new opportunities for industrial cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.

At the science and technology exhibition hall of Hope Slanvert, a subsidiary of the Continental Hope Group, the participants explored the frontiers of science and technology, felt the driving force of technological innovation, and systematically learned about Continental Hope Group's development process of transforming from a manufacturing enterprise to a dual-wheel-driven model of "smart factories + high-end equipment". From independently developed frequency conversion technology to world-leading new energy application scenarios, and from intelligent management systems to zero-carbon industrial park solutions, the enterprise's development model driven by technological innovation left a deep impression on the participants.

"The speed of technological upgrading of Chinese enterprises is amazing!" said a participant from Nigeria's Ministry of Industry, pointing to the inverter model in the display cabinet. "Our country is facing the challenge of adjusting its energy structure, and this highly efficient energy-saving solution is extremely valuable as a reference." An official from Fiji's Energy Authority expressed keen interest in the integrated photovoltaic energy storage system: "Pacific Island countries have an urgent demand for clean energy, and we hope to introduce such technologies in the future."

During the exchange, Wang Wenjia, General Manager of Continental Hope Investment and Development Corp., Ltd., and Dr. Dong Jinping, General Manager of the New Energy Business Division of Continental Hope Group, respectively gave detailed explanations based on the cases of the enterprise's participation in the Belt and Road construction and the business model of "technology export + localized operation".

Taking a smart power grid project as an example, Dr. Dong Jinping from the Group's New Energy Business Division elaborated on how to achieve precise alignment between technical standards and local needs by jointly conducting research and developing high-temperature-resistant equipment adapted to climate change. He stated, "Genuine cooperation is not about simple replication, but about joint innovation."

The head of the seminar and Director of the International Promotion Department of Egyptian Tourism Authority asked, "Egypt is in need of a great deal of green infrastructure construction. Can Chinese enterprises provide customized solutions?" Wang Wenjia, General Manager of the Group's Investment Company, stated that at present, Chinese enterprises have many technologically leading solutions that can support global green and sustainable development. He invited participants from various countries to recommend local partners to jointly promote new progress in green and low-carbon development, and contribute wisdom and strength to facilitate high-quality development of the green and low-carbon economy.

Zou Liqi, Vice Dean of the Pre-University Education College of Huaqiao University, stated that the smooth implementation of this activity could not have been achieved without the support of such institutions as the Sichuan Provincial Returned Overseas Chinese Federation, the Sichuan Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Sichuan Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs (SFOCE), the Sichuan Alumni Association of Huaqiao University, and Continental Hope Group. She added that this trip to Chengdu had further promoted the integration of theory and practice, enabling the participants to personally experience the innovation and development of Chinese enterprises and learn about China's cutting-edge achievements in fields such as intelligent technology and cultural tourism. The visit to Hope Cloud Business Park witnessed China's strong strength and great potential in the field of intelligent technology; the on-site research conducted at Hope Slanvert Intelligent Factory truly made them feel the efficiency and advancement of Chinese manufacturing; and the visits to Hope Outlets and Atlantis Cultural and Tourism Project allowed the participants to appreciate the unique charm of China's cultural tourism and commercial development.

A responsible person from the Sichuan Provincial Returned Overseas Chinese Federation stated that the participants of this Seminar on Chinese Language for Government Officials from Belt and Road Countries, after traveling long distances across the oceans to China, first arrived in Xiamen for training and now heading to Chengdu for economic and trade exchange activities. This in itself constitutes a cross-border and cross-cultural exchange and cooperation.

As a key part of the Trade and Economic Activities of "Sichuan Enterprises into Global Market via Returned Overseas Chinese" & Sichuan Visit of Government Officials from Belt and Road Countries Attending Seminar on Chinese Language, this event is not only an economic and trade exchange activity, but also a cultural exchange and friendship-enhancing event. By going deep into Continental Hope Group, the participants further expanded their comprehensive understanding of China's "dual carbon" practices and industrial upgrading. This cross-regional exchange is adding more HOPE colors of green development to the Belt and Road Initiative.
