Recently, Qinghai Guoyuan Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. – a subsidiary under the Energy & Chemicals Sector of Continental Hope Group (hereinafter referred to as the "Qinghai Guoyuan Project") – has achieved a significant milestone: the official launch of its Phase II development!

To implement the goal of "building a world-class salt lake industrial base", Continental Hope Group has invested in and developed the "Salt Lake Industry Green High-end New Materials and Hydrogen Energy Comprehensive Utilization Project" in Delingha City, Qinghai Province — officially known as the Qinghai Guoyuan Green Chemical & Hydrogen Energy Comprehensive Utilization Circular Economy Industrial Park Project. With robust support from the Qinghai Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Government, Haixi Prefecture, and Delingha Municipal authorities, Phase I of the Qinghai Guoyuan Project has been successfully commissioned. Its products are now marketed globally, and going forward, the project will further facilitate Qinghai’s efforts to deepen trade cooperation with Belt and Road Initiative partner countries, regions, and other domestic provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities — fostering win-win collaboration and shared growth.

Currently, Phase II of the Qinghai Guoyuan Project has finalized land acquisition, project planning, and approval procedures, with construction officially commencing. Once completed and operational, it will form a circular economy industrial park integrating source-grid-load-storage green energy chemicals and comprehensive hydrogen energy utilization, thereby boosting the clustered development of Qinghai's salt lake industry.

Drawing on the resources of Continental Hope Group’s Energy & Chemicals Sector, which serves as the chairman unit of the Chlorate Branch under the China Inorganic Salts Industry Association (CISIA), the Qinghai Guoyuan Project will consolidate industry expertise to co-develop a development model integrating technological innovation and industrial innovation. This will translate scientific and technological achievements into efficient driving forces for industrial advancement. Continental Hope Group’s sustained, robust growth stems from its strong focus on technological innovation, vigorous promotion of technological reforms and upgrades, and deep integration of technological innovation with green circular economy.

Currently, the Energy & Chemicals Sector of Continental Hope Group is participating in formulating national standards for the chlorate industry. A number of its projects have earned accolades such as "Green Factory", " Specialized, Sophisticated, Distinctive, and Novel Enterprise", and "High-Tech Enterprise". Leveraging its strengths across upstream and downstream industrial chains, including power grids, clean energy (hydropower, photovoltaic power, wind power, etc.), salt chemicals, comprehensive hydrogen energy utilization, and new materials, the Group has developed multiple green circular economy industrial parks focused on clean energy, salt chemicals, and the cultivation of gemstone -based new materials. It has formed an integrated green energy-chemical circular economy industrial ecosystem chain that combines clean energy and comprehensive hydrogen energy utilization, which has been featured in the classic case studies of Harvard Business School’s MBA program.

With the official launch of Phase II of the Qinghai Guoyuan Chemical Project, Continental Hope Group will continue to commit itself to elevating the green development level of the supply chain. It will collaborate with upstream and downstream enterprises to achieve sustainable development, actively respond to the national and Qinghai Provincial calls for "intelligent manufacturing and green manufacturing," and implement the development concepts of innovation, coordination, greenness, openness, and sharing. The Group will adopt advanced, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly new technologies, equipment, processes, and materials; promote the establishment of a green manufacturing system through clean production; drive high-quality enterprise development via environmental optimization; and strive to become a "resource-saving and environment-friendly" benchmark enterprise. Benefiting from the development strengths of Continental Hope Group’s Energy & Chemicals Sector across upstream and downstream industrial chains, including clean energy (hydropower, photovoltaics, wind power, etc.), salt chemicals, comprehensive hydrogen energy utilization, and new materials, the Qinghai Guoyuan Project was awarded the national-level "Green Factory" title at the start of 2025.

Looking ahead, the Qinghai Guoyuan Project will seize this opportunity to focus on comprehensive green transformation, continue to extend, supplement, and strengthen the industrial chain, develop a new energy equipment manufacturing cluster, and attract more data-source enterprises to settle here. Leveraging the independent intellectual property rights, including patents and proprietary technologies accumulated by Continental Hope Group over years in energy, chemicals, machinery, and electronics, the project will convert these assets into new productive forces for high-quality green development in the energy and chemical sector. It will also build a distinctive circular economy industrial ecosystem chain integrating clean energy, green chemicals, and comprehensive hydrogen energy utilization.
