Since the start of this year, Chengdu Shuangliu District has gone all out to boost the economy and advance construction, while further promoting the "Park Establishment and Full Operation" initiative. Its overall economic performance has remained sound: in the industrial sector, the total industrial output value in the first half of the year exceeded 87.5 billion yuan, with the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size grew by 14.4%, ranking the 2nd in the city, successfully meeting the "half-year targets" (half the time elapsed, half the tasks completed). As August rolls in, it is the crucial moment for a final push. Building on the new starting point of "half-year targets met", Shuangliu’s industrial sector is accelerating its sprint with a "fully-charged and highly-focused" momentum, striving for progress in the third quarter and making all-out efforts to tackle the second half of the year.

Stepping into the High-Voltage Intelligent Manufacturing Workshop of Hope Slanvert, assembly workers in precise coordination with automated equipment. Yellow AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) intelligent handling carts shuttle along preset paths, automatically delivering components and power units to designated workstations. The entire workshop presents a busy scene of high efficiency and orderliness. As a leader in China’s energy conservation and environmental protection, new energy, drive control, and intelligent equipment sectors, after the comprehensive completion of the automation transformation of its production lines in the first half of this year, the company's production capacity has increased by more than tripled, and its output value has increased by over 30% year-on-year, hitting a record high. With the surging global demand for industrial automation products, Hope Slanvert’s foreign trade orders have seen explosive growth, and current orders are already scheduled through September. "We are in contact with more OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) partners to ensure the on-time delivery of overseas orders," a relevant person in charge of the enterprise said. Going forward, the company plans to further expand its industrial automation product line to release greater production capacity from this intelligent production line.

Racing against time, focusing on production, keeping an eye on R&D, and sprinting toward targets. In the second half of the year, Zhongwei New Energy (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. is also operating at full steam in terms of production and R&D vitality. This intelligent factory, renovated and upgraded from the former old workshop of Tongwei Solar, specializes in high-precision cutting of photovoltaic silicon wafers. Its production equipment, technological processes, and automation level lead the industry. In the first half of this year, its output value reached 1.47 billion yuan. With the commissioning of the Tongwei Global Innovation and R&D Center, the enterprise has achieved a comprehensive strategic layout, covering the mainstream solar cell and module technologies in the current industry. Next, it will spare no effort to move toward the goal of building a global innovation and R&D center.

"The third quarter is a critical period for meeting the annual target tasks, and the entire district is currently in a fervent drive to go all out and fulfill the annual goals," a relevant person in charge of Shuangliu District Bureau of Economy and Information Technology said. Shuangliu is continuing to deepen the "Addressing Needs, Solving Problems, Enhancing Advantages, and Promoting Development" campaign and the "Park Establishment and Full Operation" initiative, providing targeted services to key enterprises, effectively resolving challenges in enterprise development, and taking multiple measures to boost market confidence and stimulate development vitality, laying a solid foundation for the steady and long-term economic and social development of Shuangliu District.

It is understood that recently, "CCID Sichuan" and "CCID Chongqing" jointly released the Research Report on the High-Quality Development of the Chengdu-Chongqing Dual-City Economic Circle (2025). Shuangliu District was listed among the top 100 districts and counties in the high-quality development index of the Chengdu-Chongqing Dual-City Economic Circle, ranking 3rd. Additionally, not long ago, CCID Consulting released the 2025 Research Report on the High-Quality Economic Development of China’s Urban Districts and announced the list of the "2025 CCID Top 100 Districts". Shuangliu District made the list once again, ranking 26th nationwide and the 2nd in the city. Its consecutive inclusion in these authoritative rankings reflects that Shuangliu District, as a key "industrial hub" of the city, is advancing with the strong momentum of high-quality development and is determined to deliver an outstanding performance card in the year-end final sprint.
