On December 28th, Chengdu Hope Outlets was brimming with joy and a warm, festive atmosphere. Co-organized by Jin Guan Media (Chengdu Daily) and Xinjin Hope Outlets, the "Dragons Soar, Horses Gallop; Splendid Xinjin, Glamorous Outlets" Spring Festival Art Gala was brilliantly staged here. Amidst beautiful melodies and graceful dance performances, a large crowd of citizens gathered with their families to celebrate the upcoming New Year's Day.

The venue was adorned with festive lanterns and colorful decorations, brimming with an exuberant holiday spirit. Young performers from Xingguangyao Innovation Education Center, dressed in bright and vivid costumes, showcased their talents and conveyed holiday greetings through a diverse array of performances including dance, singing and instrumental playing. Lively children’s dances embodied the vibrant vitality of the upcoming Spring Festival; clear and pure children’s voices expressed sincere yearnings for a bright future; piano and guitar struck up warm and delightful New Year melodies, which together crafted an artistically captivating audio-visual feast for the audience.

Notably, the event featured two distinguished guests: Zhang Guoqing, representative inheritor of Chengdu rope weaving craftsmanship, and Yang Wenyi, a 2025 provincial-level rural artisan. They shared the wisdom and dedication of traditional craftsmen, expounding on the essence of inheriting and innovating the craftsman spirit through personal anecdotes. To let citizens experience the allure of traditional handcrafts up close, a fun rope weaving workshop was set up at the venue, attracting participants of all ages to get hands-on. Through interaction, attendees felt the vitality of traditional craftsmanship reimagined in modern society.

The "Dragons Soar, Horses Gallop; Splendid Xinjin, Glamorous Outlets" Art Gala not only provided a stage for children to showcase themselves and infused New Year's Day in the Year of the Horse with warmth and vitality, but also created a joyful, peaceful and vibrant festive atmosphere for the public. It allowed everyone to feel the strong Spring Festival vibe and artistic charm in their leisure time of shopping and relaxation, jointly usher in the new year and open a new chapter full of hopes and dreams.
