Amid the sizzle of woks and the lively clatter of chess and card games, the Trade Union of Hope New Energy organized a themed team-building event under the banner "Chasing Light, Uniting for New Energy – Fun Competitions & Joint Birthday Celebration." The event was designed to enrich employees' cultural and recreational life, alleviate workplace stress, and strengthen both team cohesion and a sense of belonging.

All participants were randomly assigned to teams through a draw. The event comprised two main competitive tracks: the Chef Championship and the Chess & Card Championship, with a cumulative team‑points scoring system. Teams divided their members internally to compete in both arenas, showcasing their unique strengths and engaging in spirited rivalry.

Warm Birthday Wishes, Cherished Companionship

The event kicked off with a warm and heartfelt group birthday celebration. All attendees sang the birthday song together, while the honorees made wishes, extinguished candles, and shared a delicious cake. Each birthday celebrant received a commemorative gift, as laughter and cheer filled the air, conveying the heartfelt care and appreciation of both the company and the Trade Union to every employee.

Chef Championship – The Warmth of Teamwork, Sizzled to Perfection

Over at the cooking stations, woks and spatulas were in full swing. Team members in the culinary group worked in seamless coordination – washing, chopping, seasoning, and plating with precision. Within the 180-minute timed challenge, each team pulled out all the stops, presenting a dazzling array of dishes that delighted in color, aroma, and taste. The judging panel evaluated entries on multiple criteria, including flavor and texture, creative presentation, team collaboration, and hygiene standards. Beyond the savory aromas rising from the stoves, what truly stood out was the power of tacit teamwork.

Meanwhile, the chess and card venue buzzed with lively excitement. Participants adhered to the rules and engaged in courteous play. With composure and strategic thinking, they competed in a spirit of "friendship first, competition second," using the games as a bridge to bring one another closer in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.
