Officially Put into Operation

On September 1, the smart microgrid project at Hope Cloud Business Park High-Tech Park was officially put into operation. This project is the first park-level smart microgrid demonstration project in the West High-Tech Zone of Chengdu and the first 10kV-side energy storage project connected to the grid in compliance with State Grid standards. Leveraging Hope New Energy's self-developed AMPMIND 3.0 intelligent dispatch system and new‑type energy storage products, the project has established an integrated solar-storage-charging smart energy system, enabling intelligent power regulation, energy conservation & cost reduction, low-carbon operations, and efficiency enhancement, setting a benchmark for new power system development in the region.

01 Core Technologies

The project is built in strict accordance with national standards and specifications, establishing a multi-energy complementary and intelligently coordinated new energy architecture that forms a closed-loop energy utilization system encompassing green power generation, storage-based peak shaving, and intelligent dispatch. Through automated data acquisition, load forecasting, and dynamic regulation technologies, the system adapts in real time to changes in park electricity demand, precisely optimizes energy allocation, and improves overall energy utilization efficiency.

Full Suite of High-Performance Technical Configurations

2.2 MW Rooftop PV System: Large-scale on-site clean power generation, establishing the park's foundational green power supply system, effectively reducing the proportion of traditional grid power intake and optimizing the electricity utilization structure.

5MW / 10MWh New‑Type Energy Storage System: Core support for peak shaving, precisely smoothing electricity fluctuations, enabling off-peak storage and on-demand discharge; increasing the park's green energy absorption capacity to over 90%.

58 Sets of Smart Charging Terminals: Enhancing the park's new-energy recharging infrastructure and decentralizing electricity load.

10kV Grid-Connection + Intelligent Dispatch System: Leveraging intelligent algorithms for round-the-clock load prediction, dynamic regulation, and stable grid synchronization, with load forecasting accuracy reaching 95%, comprehensively improving power supply stability and overall energy utilization efficiency.

02 Operational Benefits

As the first park-level 10kV user-side integrated solar-storage-charging grid-connected microgrid demonstration project in the West High-Tech Zone of Chengdu, this project establishes an integrated "source-grid-load-storage-charging" smart energy system, delivering multiple values including cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, green and low-carbon operations, secure power supply, and flexible interaction.

Through on-site PV consumption, storage-based peak load shaving, intelligent regulation of charging loads, and demand-side management to optimize enterprise-level energy utilization structure, the project is expected to reduce daily electricity costs by over 55%, effectively lowering comprehensive corporate energy costs and supporting the green and high-quality development of the park's industries.

Leveraging Hope New Energy's self-developed AMPMIND 3.0 intelligent dispatch system, the project enables unified monitoring and intelligent coordinated control of PV, storage, loads, and charging facilities, supporting diverse applications such as peak shaving and valley filling, demand response, peak and frequency regulation, and ancillary services, thereby enhancing renewable energy absorption capacity and grid interaction capabilities.

The project is equipped with the capability to interface with Virtual Power Plant (VPP) platforms, aggregating distributed energy resources and adjustable load resources within the park to enable flexible energy dispatch and market-oriented operations. In emergency situations such as power curtailment or outages, the system can rapidly activate storage-based backup power, enhancing the park's energy resilience and supply reliability, and establishing a replicable and scalable smart energy benchmark for the Chengdu High-Tech Zone.

03 Benchmark Value

The project features a mature technical architecture with strong adaptability, making it widely applicable to various high-energy-consumption scenarios including industrial parks, manufacturing bases, commercial complexes, data centers, large-scale manufacturing facilities, and new-energy stations. It directly addresses common industry pain points such as high electricity costs, significant load fluctuations, difficulties in green power absorption, unstable power supply, and mounting carbon reduction pressures. This represents a comprehensive energy solution that is perfectly replicable, rapidly deployable, and scalable for widespread adoption.
